Launched in March 2019, it feels like yesterday Tutor LMS made its entry into the WordPress LMS world. Since then, we have taken many feature requests and feedback from our users to shape Tutor LMS to be the best WordPress LMS plugin.
Fast forward to today, Tutor LMS has over 40,000 active installations! Let’s take a moment to appreciate this. We could not have done it without the collaborative community and the constant feedback and love.
But that’s not where we want to stop. We want to provide you with the most robust and unified experience across the entire WordPress eLearning industry. And that’s why we are giving Tutor LMS a completely new makeover!
Today, we’re beyond excited to give you early access content of Tutor LMS 2.0! It feels very surreal to finally be able to share with you a slice of what we’ve been pouring our heart and hard work into.
Ready to witness the best-in-class eLearning experience? Stay tuned to find out what’s coming soon in Tutor LMS.
Mission Behind Tutor LMS 2.0
The main goal behind redesigning Tutor LMS from the ground up was to provide a more visually unified interface. Even though Tutor LMS was already providing a good eLearning experience, we wanted to provide the best in the industry.
In Tutor LMS 2.0, we have added a secret sauce to scale and develop LMS websites with speed and consistency. From buttons, colors, typography, tone, and everything that Tutor LMS stands out for will be more polished and modern.
- Optimized user interface
- A unified design system
- More inclusive and accessible
- Improved color consistency
- Unmatched eLearning experience
A More Visually Unified Design System
If you run an LMS site you already know how visual and technical overhaul always causes a stir. Especially when you have a lot of courses, instructors, students, or transactions to manage. It can be hard to visualize how everything fits together and the progression that you should follow as you strive to create your LMS brand.
Soon it’ll be a pain of the past!
A new look and feel are coming to Tutor LMS 2.0 – bringing an aligned and enhanced user experience. The new unified interface is quite a shift and includes some game-changing features and improvements!
Appearance
Tutor LMS is getting a facelift to let your content shine like no other! The entire design concept is driven by the idea that less is more. Elements are pared down to only the essential and presented with minimalism.
Every little visual change from typography to placement is thoughtfully made to give your LMS platform a more clean and polished look!
Colors
Wave goodbye to inconsistent colors! In 2.0, we have fixed the color inconsistencies and used an appealing color palette to win the game. As eLearning is all about communicating friendliness and trustworthiness, Tutor LMS sets the right mood with darker blue and lighter shades.
Accessibility
The new improved UX is now more accessible and flexibly accommodates the needs of users with visual, auditory, cognitive, mobility, and other disabilities. It will ensure your training meets everyone’s needs and generate consistent learner outcomes.
A Highly Automated LMS
Your productivity level will be shooting through the roof! To further automate the process for instructors, students, and administrators, we eliminated many limitations that can cause a creative block. The changes are intended to speed up your workflow and ensure your eLearning courses receive the spotlight they deserve!
More Organized Dashboard

Even if you have never created an eLearning course before, the new dashboard will make you feel like a pro! We have made a ton of great improvements to the dashboard offering a more intuitive, organized, and modern approach.
Tutor LMS v2.0 is bringing you a dashboard that will let you access everything you need to manage your LMS website from one spot. From learner experience to the course creation process, the overall design is focused on task automation.
New Notification Features!

- A: This notification functionality enhances the overall LMS experience by informing users of new announcements, comments, questions, and more.
- B: Notification bar to let all learners instantly see any updates without having to be informed via email or messages. The notifications appear on top of the dashboard which is unlikely to miss.
- C: Dot-style badge to make the new notifications easily distinguishable.
- D: Notifications are categorized to identify and group related information.
Let your learners and instructors stay in the loop with personalized and interactive notifications.
New Email Templates Editor – HOT!
Tutor LMS already has a built-in email notification system to keep the students and tutors updated with the latest happenings but does not have an editor to change the email content as of now. So you have to override the plugin files from your theme if you want to make any changes.
With Tutor LMS v2.0, you can wave goodbye to this hassle! Now, you will be able to edit email template content right from the settings! This is a huge improvement that’s going to make your life so much easier.

Edit your email template content from the editor without having to override the plugin files like before. Set your title logo, recipients, subject, email heading, additional content, and action button right from the editor.
Email Template Content Editor
On the email settings, you will find an option to enable sending emails for every possible event on the instructor, student, and admin’s end. All you have to do is click on the Edit button to edit the email template content for that event.
See Template Preview
Any changes you make will be visible in the template preview section right away. This will help you visualize the content and make changes accordingly.
Send Test Email

You can also send a test email to see exactly what your emails will look like to receivers. By sending test emails you can also ensure if your emails are being sent and delivered and any design or content changes are working the way they should.
Exclusively Designed Email Templates
Tutor LMS 2.0 is guaranteed to provide the ultimate eLearning experience! Set the bar even higher and get a competitive edge with our exclusive in-house designed email templates for each event.
Next-Level Insights With More Advanced Analytics
Dealing with data can be hard, but not with Tutor LMS. With Tutor LMS 2.0, you’ll not only enjoy the best in the industry but easy-to-use analytics features.
Here you’ll get a detailed analytics report to adjust your strategies based on data-driven insights.
From filling performance gaps, assessing the effectiveness of the courses, and tracking the performance of individual student progress, you can do so much more with advanced analytics.
- Overview(A): Overview drills down and extracts insights to give you a run-through of total students, courses, reviews, your earnings graph, and the most popular courses.
- Courses(B1, B2): Get course-specific insights and track the earnings from each course with the earnings graph.
- Earnings(C): Get an overview of your overall earning statistics like total earnings, current balance, total withdraws, total sales, deducted commissions, and more on the earnings tab of Analytics.
- Statements(D): List view statement of earning, commission, and fees for each purchase with order id and purchaser information.
- Students (E1, E2): List of registered students with the number of courses enrolled. Detailed report on course-specific progress – lesson completion, quiz, and assignment performance of each student.
- Exports (F): Download a detailed report of each student in a CSV file on the exports tab.
Enhanced Level of Communication
One of the most important aspects of an eLearning website is to create an interactive environment between students and teachers. While Tutor LMS already has an effective Question & Answer section for instructors to connect and communicate with the students, we revisited the thought process to make it even more engaging.
Question & Answer
Now students can leave their questions on a course and instructors can assist much like instant messaging applications.
- Mark as important (A): There’s a badge to set the question to important to define the priority level.
- Mark Solved (B): Instructors can also set the status to solved when they are done providing the solution.
- Mark as Unread/ Archive (C): You can also archive the conversation, mark it as unread, share files, and perform other actions like instant messaging applications.
Having the ability to instantly communicate and solve students’ problems will enhance your student engagement, provide constant connectivity, and help you keep communication formal with a casual touch.
New Event Calendar
Now you can better plan and prepare your courses with the new Event Calendar! Organize your events, schedule your exams, assignments, lessons, and share your calendar with your students to keep them up to date with your eLearning plan.

The calendar displays the Lesson, Assignment, and Quiz event types. These are viewable only within a course created by an instructor.
Activities in a course that have an associated due date will auto-populate the Calendar on the specified date. That’s not all! Events will be highlighted in red if they are overdue and blue if upcoming to ensure the powerful feature is easy to use too!
New Assignments Options
Tutor LMS strives with a learner’s first approach. To make distance learning even better and productive, Tutor 2.0 will allow instructors to set if students can retake assignments.
Instructors can also leave feedback when evaluating the assignment so that students can reflect on where they need to improve.
Revamped Course Catalog & Details
The upcoming Tutor LMS will give you the flexibility to choose from multiple layouts to create a directory of courses, each with their page neatly.
With the built-in sleek designs and your preferred layouts, it’s going to be much easier for the eyes to access the courses on your eLearning website.
Course Catalog

Set your preferred column per row, course filters, and more to create a directory of your courses with a beautiful course catalog. Each entry involves a display image, star rating, course information, and a call to action so that students can quickly filter and make their purchase decision.
Detailed Course Page
The course details page has some striking improvements! The first distinct change is the enlarged course intro video to grab the attention of the readers.
The course details page usually has a lot of information to cover, Tutor LMS 2.0 decluttered the entire page and beautifully balances the information through the use of tabs.
It now contains extensive information such as Q/A, Announcements, Comments, Integrations, and more through the use of tabs.
Announcements
Any announcements created from the backend for courses will be visible in the Announcements tab of the course details page.
Integrations

Tutor LMS 2.0 will have integration support for Google Classroom and Zoom. From importing resources, syncing Google Classroom, sending Google Classroom invitations, conducting video lessons live with Zoom – you can do so much more with the integrations.
Membership Plan
The right sidebar containing the membership plan and course information is completely dynamic. You won’t have to manually input any information here!
Settings Restructured
The backend settings panel of Tutor LMS is being changed significantly compared to the current version. The traditional menu tabs at the top of the screen have been moved to a sidebar. It has been restructured to look more modern and make the settings area more flexible to configure.

From setting up your Gradebook to configuring Grade Name, Grade Point, Minimum Grade Percentile, Maximum Grade Percentile, Grade Colour, you will have everything that is required to set up a Grading System.
More Intuitive Certificate Setup
The certificate setup page is now more intuitive and guided. You won’t get lost in a pool of texts and options. The settings will beautifully guide you to the certificate creation process. All you have to do is select the design, type in your text, and upload your signature to create a certificate for a course.
You’ll also get to see a list of all your certificates here. Besides each certificate, you’ll have the option to enable or disable the certificate, edit, or delete.
Certificate Preview
Students upon completing the course can now preview the certificate before downloading it. Apart from the download option, they can also print, share, or copy the credential URL for each certificate.
Use Presets or Your Custom Palette
The Preset Colors tab lets you easily configure color settings throughout your entire site. You can switch between pre-defined presets or create your custom color palette.
You can also define your background color, hover color, and text color from here and style your LMS site according to your preference.
Brand New Quiz Builder Interface
Quizzes are a great indicator of how good an LMS is and with Tutor LMS, we didn’t settle for the good, we opted for the best! The new quiz creation interface provides a more intuitive way to add and edit all the questions in your quiz.
The Advanced Options tab has been moved to the backend course settings and any changes you make here will be applied to all the quizzes under this course. This is going to save you from doing redundant work.
Student View
Student views of the quizzes are now more informed and polished. A new window with quiz information will be presented before a student can start the quiz. There will also be a new Back button so that Instructors can set the option to go back and retake a question.
Question Types
Tutor LMS 2.0 will allow you to create quizzes with great flexibility using a vast range of different question types. There are 10 different question types as follow:
- True/False
- Single Choice
- Multiple Choice
- Open-Ended/Essay
- Fill in the Blanks
- Short Answer
- Matching
- Image Matching
- Image Answering
- Ordering
Reviews & Ratings

Collect all of your reviews and ratings in one centralized location. The Review tab on the dashboard will allow you to visualize all the given and received reviews so that you can pinpoint the performance of the courses.
Smarter Certificate Templates Preview
Certificates Templates preview on the front-end course builder will also get a new look and feel to it. You’ll have the option to choose none, preview, use the template in both landscape or portrait mode.
Improved Responsiveness
Apart from the above-mentioned improvements, Tutor LMS 2.0 will have many dynamic changes and will be more responsive than ever! It is now more focused on the details of content, design, and performance to support users across all devices.

Hey, just wondered was the Tutor LMS cart system far off after 2.0!
Jithmal
I thoroughly enjoy using Tutor LMS, however, I would like to be able to add chemical equations as questions for my students. Perhaps allow for sub and superscripts in the question or allow us to attach pictures as a question, that way we can also include figures.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Hi, thank you so much for your valuable recommendation. I have forwarded it to the concerned team. Please keep an eye on our blog and socials for future updates.

🆘 I want to fix the integration with Oxygen Builder, for me this would be great.
⭕️ I want the url of wp-login.php to stop working. I want all login attempts from wp-login.php to be directed to tutor LMS login.
⭕️ I want integration with WPA to have a mobile app in a simple way with an external plugin (WPA is fantastic).
⭕️ I want to be able to put a lesson as a draft, or pending publication, currently the lesson can only be active or deleted.
I want to have all the lessons in the external menu, under the courses, so I can correct more specific things without entering the course.
⭕️ I don’t want to have two students connected at the same time with the same user, I want that when a user logs in from a computer, if he logs in from another computer, the previous user is disconnected.
⭕️ I want more shortcodes for example a shortcode that activates the login modal.
⭕️ I want more hooks.
❤️ Finally I want to thank you for doing things so well, I am quite happy with the way this LMS tutor is now.
🙏 Thank you very much and good luck and good health.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Hi, first of all, thank you for writing in such detail about your requirements. We always appreciate user feedback and I have forwarded your recommendations to the concerned team. Please keep an eye on our blogs and socials for future updates. Thanks

I can´t wait for the new version 😀
– In Enrolled Courses in the mobile version you could add a button to access the course (i have noticed many of my students don´t know they must click on the image course or name to access it in the mobile version) or access the course directly: students have to click two pages (enrolled courses page and the course page itself) to access the course;
– you could add a pdf reader too ^.^
Steve Rayner
All sounds great – especially the ability to download results spreadsheets!
Will we be able to:
– save our own certificate templates? It’s a pain having to create the same-but-slightly-different certificate over an again from scratch for similar courses where slightly different content is required on the certificate?
– add more element fields on certificates e.g. it would be useful to be able to add a summary of the course content to each certificate based on the course information fields
– use individual lessons in multiple courses?
– copy lessons for use (with minor edits) in other courses?
– copy entire courses as templates for similar courses?
brunaashby
Use individual lessons in multiple courses and copy lessons for use (with minor edits) in other courses would be perfect and make my life easier 😀
Sharif
you should to add this option for admin. if admin want then he will be able to set a restriction for some published courses. the restriction will be like that: instructor will not be able to edit, duplicate and delete those published courses without admin permission.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Thank you for your suggestion. I have forwarded your suggestion to the concerning team.
Faustin PEPIN
Hi there,
The team is amazing, very nice job there. I like that the fact that TutorLMS is very complete. However, I am missing one thing : the gamification. I know that there are integrations like gamipress for example, however for better optimization I prefer using only a complete plugin like TutorLMS instead of having many pluging doing the job.
I am actually building my LMS site with the previous version of TutorLMS, do you have an idea of when the new version will be released?
Regards,
pikademia
Will there be a chance to assign customers for specific time? I would like to create yearly courses where students start the course in September and they have acces till the end of June. After this time they will be cleared from the student list automatically. Could you provide such an option?
Mirza Rizvi Amin
While creating a course in the course settings, you can set an enrollment period to set how long the students will be enrolled in that specific course. Hope it helps.
You can learn more from here.
School
if understand you correctly, this is already there
richard24
I think everything is correct, but why not focus on the media player? It is small, it is not adaptable to mobile phones and the videos are blurry, improve it since it is the most important thing in this type of question.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Thank you. I have forwarded your request to the team. If we have more requests similar to this we will consider it in the future.
lagocreative
Guys, I hope those are good news.
But there are two simple things that migh make them great news.
1. Is there DIVI integration ?
2. The Quizzes will allow the chance to create non-qualified assessments, or polls somehow?
Thanks in advance for letting me know.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Thank you so much. As for the answers to your questions.
1. We have integration with Divi. You can learn more from here.
2. Currently you can’t create any poll-type quiz.
If you have any more questions, do let us know.
Mitchell van der Hulst
Looks great!
But i really hope that with the delay you guys have found time to add passing a quiz as mandatory before proceeding to the next Lesson. Really needed. Right now i struggle because of the absence.
fpuebla
Me too! We are so many in this situation!
Nathan Lampe
Wow! I can’t believe I am just seeing this! I am beyond excited to see all of these new features ship.
I knew when I first looked at Tutor LMS that it was the future of WordPress LMS systems. I purchased a lifetime subscription for these kinds of updates and also the pending Buddyboss integration.
So. Freaking. Excited!
Zareen Tasnim
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m sure you’ll love 2.0. We look forward to your continued support in the future.
Mohammed Alragom
Hello, I was wondering when 2.0 will launch? Can’t wait:):)
akagi
Looking good so far! I like it!
Just some suggestion from me for an even better experience:
1.) Hopefully the quizzes will also be included in the calendar and the instructors can add a deadline to it just like assignments. Would be even better if there was a widget of the calendar so that we can display it anywhere on the website on a sidebar.
2.) The ability to let instructors archive their courses or mark them as “complete” which also prevens studens from enrolling on that course any further. A search bar or sorting feature for the courses would be handy too on the frontend dashboard.
3.) Search and sorting feature for the quiz attempts from the frontend as well.
4.) On the course page, a list for the enrolled students would be nice so the instructor can manage them more effeciently.
And that’s it from me, other than my suggestion i’ve been really impressed with how far tutor lms has progressed and i can’t wait to see it develop and grow even further! Cheers themeum team and best regards!
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Thank you so much for your suggestions and kind words.
We are striving to provide an even better LMS building experience with Tutor LMS v2.0 and are very hopeful for the future.
Again thank you and hope that you will continue to support us in the future.
apptonomous
Hi!
Tutor LMS is the more easy software to learn on the market with a minimal learning curve.
It could be little late maybe, but as a registered user and in love with Tutor LMS I would suggest the following:
I wish, we as administrators, could change the following slugs more easily, out of the box (instead of hacking the code)
1. Using class slug instead of course slug
https://educompany.com/class instead of https://educompany.com/course
2. Using activity slug instead of lesson slug
https://educompany.com/activity instead of https://educompany.com/lesson
Reasons why
Pro reasons
This would give Tutor LMS a huge uptake potential since teachers today must prepare, build and show their educational content inmediately. Due to the speed with which teachers need attending their virtual students, instructors and teachers prefer the concepts of class and activity to build their student´s learning paths.
Preparing a class and diploying a class is a more appropriate concept for today’s educational context around the globe.
A class is immediate, teachers connect to ZOOM or could import Google Classroom content right away to show their classes up and running without feeling they´re wasting a lot ot time.
Then, within a class, the activity concept is better because is more motivational, more enjoyable for the students. Interactive activities are more interesting and bring a natural engagement.
Con reasons
Preparing a course can take weeks, even months and each lesson could take preparation with details.
The concept of course and lesson means time-consuming and that´s why a lot of teachers don´t engage in LCMS today according to a very recent research made by our educators team in Apptonomous LLC.
Hope those Xmas wishes could be part of Tutor LMS 2.1

Hello, I am excited with tutor lms. Kindly work on Scorm and h5p integrations. I shall be so grateful
Holger Theymann
+1 for SCORM !!!
juncokevin
aun no esta listo?
Zareen Tasnim
Hi, juncokevin!
Please bear with us a little more as we are doing the final QA testing to make sure everything goes well with the transition to Tutor LMS 2.0
Thank you for your patience.
webcraftcity
Well done for a job well done! However, I would really really want these two features which are standard in most LMS:
(1) The ability to give feedback on why a particular option is CORRECT / INCORRECT in a quiz question. The editor should also be text/HTML so that students can be directed to a URL / lesson/topic where to learn it.
(2) The ability to modify email content sent when a student completes a quiz to be conditional, i.e. If a student passed the quiz (e,g. Well done! You have passed the quiz and can now move to the next lesson) or if a student failed the quiz (e.g. Sorry!! You have not scored the marks required to move to the next lesson. Please retake quiz).
Thanks.
Zareen Tasnim
Hi, webcraftcity!
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. Tutor LMS 2.0 will have an email template content editor with which you can easily modify the email content right from the settings.
Coming back to your first feature request, I have forwarded it to the team. We’ll definitely look into it.
Thank you.
juncokevin
your comments are amazing, wow 🙂
vuslatim
Hello;
Will there be any work on integrating with Buddyboss? Just like Learndash – Lite lms
Zareen Tasnim
Hi, vuslatim!
BuddyBoss team already announced Tutor LMS compatibility
Learn more from here: https://www.buddyboss.com/integrations/tutor-lms/.
For the app, we need to finish our API feature first. So, it will take some time. I am unable to mention an ETA about that.
Thank you.

Ojala este integrada la opcion para usar H5P, seria genial dar formato a los questionarios.

ya estamos a fines de noviembre y nada . ;( ;( ;( ;(
Armand Morin
Hi any idea when this will be released… excited about it. Thanks.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
We are doing the final QA testing and want to make sure it works perfectly for your transition. That’s why it is taking some time. Please bear with us a little more as we are working hard to make sure everything goes well with the transition to Tutor LMS 2.0
Thanks

Tambien estoy esperando.
Memolee
Hello, I love this version and looking forward to the new release. What is missing is the lack of ability to add more information to the student profile. I would want to know more about the students and their background etc. Even attaching their CV and certifications etc. There is also limited information capability while registering. I know you can do this by overriding some of the code and adding custom fields but this means with every update you lost every change you have made.
Do you have any plans regarding this? Thank You!
[email protected]
What I’m missing in the current version is the possibility for the students to enlarge images that are displayed with some quiz questions. The images are displayed rather small. I’ve added a lightbox tag to the images myself in the code, but every update I have to add it again.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
We are aware of the issue you are facing and it makes sense to have a bigger image size for Quizzes.
The team has taken it into consideration and hopes to implement it in an upcoming future release. Currently, we are working hard to bring Tutor LMS 2.0 to you. We will try our best to solve your issue as soon as possible after the 2.0 transition is complete. Hope you understand.
Dillon Prime
Looking forward to the new release. I would like to see hooks for adding my own quiz types, extending quiz types with a plugin, etc.
Zareen Tasnim
Hi, Dillon! Currently, there’s no plan on adding hooks to add your own quiz types. Thanks for your request, we’ll definitely look into it!
Gabriel7766
Hi!
I love this new version
However, I still can’t find the option for the questions and answers to only be answered by the instructors.
Zareen Tasnim
Hi, Gabriel7766! Thanks for the feedback. The Q&A section is built to be used by both students and teachers. So we didn’t add an option to limit the role for who can or can’t use it. Hope it helps.
Mohammed Alragom
Hello I was wondering if there are any plans to sync BuddyPress profile data with Tutor LMS
Zareen Tasnim
Currently, we don’t have any plan to sync BuddyPress profile data with Tutor LMS. I have forwarded your request to the team. If we get more requests like this, we’ll definitely work on it!
LmsBrasil
a profile integration with BoddyBoos is the most sensible, as a member doesn’t need to have 2 different places to edit their profile, this gets very confusing.
jamesjenkins1
Awesome work! Very excited to get hands on with 2.0.
Zareen Tasnim
Thank you so much. I’m sure you’ll love it!
elmar
Hey! Thanks for the great update.
Is there any Cyrillic alphabet support expected for Certificate Builder? Currently there are no compatible fonts and the symbols are being converted to weird Unicode.
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Hi Elmar, are you using the latest v1.0.1 of the Tutor LMS Certificate Builder? There was an issue with updating from v1.0.0 to v1.0.1 as you had to do it manually.
Link: https://www.themeum.com/account/downloads/
You need to manually update to v1.0.1 by downloading the latest version and installing it on your WordPress site. From v1.0.1 onwards you will be able to get automatic updates for all the future releases of the certificate builder. Hope it solves your problem.
If you still face the problem please contact us so that we can help you. Thanks
olemai
Hey,
we love your Tutor LMS 2.0.
But there is one problem:
In terms of payments and payouts, it would be great to have a merchant of record integration build in, like FastSpring or CopeCart.
In oder to scale and sell global, this would be a necessary feature.
Kind regards
Ole N. Mai
Mirza Rizvi Amin
Hi Ole N. Mai, hope you are doing well. Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans to integrate a feature like this at the given moment. I have forwarded it to the team for consideration.
If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks
boyover_27
Please add subtitle for Youtube Video in course, with file .vtt, it is good for user as me.
Thanks sir
kawshar
We will work on the video player later.
Thanks
Fuad Murad
This is really great. Honestly I love Tutor LMS but it has been a little bit of a pain top setup (for me). I use Thrive Theme Builder and Thrive Architect, and Tutor LMS is not compatible with them.
Basically Tutor LMS ignores all my theming and the page builder and all the Tutor LMS pages show on pages without my headers, footers and theing options.
It’s been frustrating and I’ve had to do many workarounds to get things to work properly, So, integration with Thrive Theme Builder is a top priority for me as it is much better than Elementor and is also quite popular.
Also, the ability to pull course data and use it within my page builder. Things like the course description, curriculum, atc…This would be super helpful because then I can build custom course pages just by pulling (meta?) data from the course and displaying it on another page.
Zareen Tasnim
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I have forwarded it to the team for consideration.
jerrynews
These extremely powerful. Thank you for being a good listener.
MY REQUEST PLEASE
it would have being a great pleasure and a huge achievement :..
IF YOU CAN CONSIDER THE INCLUSION OF MULTI INSTRUTOR MARKETPLACES FUNCTIONING ALONG WITH MEMBERSHIP PLAN WITH ALL ITS FLEXIBILITY
That is, paid membership pro fully activated and functional along with instructions marketplace to allow to sell single courses and on the same platform give room to membership plans
Zareen Tasnim
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain your feature request. I have forwarded it to the team.
dowlink
Thanks for such a great product, the new features of the plugin look incredibly cool.
By default, in the plugin, the video of the lessons can be previewed only if the user / student signed up for the course.
Will your development team take any action to protect video tutorials from downloading (downloading) by unscrupulous users?
That would not be an opportunity to share a video lesson on YouTube.
Thanks to.
juncokevin
That seems great, can you make us upload m3u8 content to save the videos only for registered users and you could put it in the PRO plugin
kawshar
First of all, glad to know that you liked the future version of the Tutor LMS.
Well, regarding the video player, surely we will work on this to make it better and secure.
Thanks
juncokevin
hi I have a great idea for the plugin in the Lesson List and Browse Q&A section add a section for the community as a contribution section where the community passes links and talks about the class
juncokevin
here is a screenshot of how it could look 🙂

Appreciate with a huge improvement and very excited for the 2.0 version.
I have some suggestions about
1.Flexible customize role permission.
2.Provide action hook, filter hook
3.Student log and activity report in deep detail such as login time, how long a student take in course, or can choose any information to make the report by ourselves.
4.Support a scorm file
If you can do all of this it’s will be a best E-Learning and E-training platform
Thank you for your hard work.
Sekander
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the feature requests.
1. We do not have plans to work on role permission. There are already plugins for that.
2. We already have that and you can see the documentation here https://docs.themeum.com/tutor-lms/developers/hooks/
3. I hope that we will be able to work on this soon.
4. This is already in our plan for Q1 2022.

Thanks for such a great product, it is clean and very straight forward to use, by the way that is one of the greatest qualities of Tutor LMS-simplicity. Another great quality of your product is FREE integration with Woocommerce. Should I need to remind you that a lot of payment gateways even here in far flung Africa are integrated with Woocommerce (talk of Payfast in South Africa and M-Pesa / Pesapal in Kenya just to name the two…) and that is what makes your product to shine from all those other “Free” LMSes… So when planning to make sure that Tutor LMS is more indipendent please DO NOT remove Woocommerce integration… not in the next 10 years 🙂
Sekander
Sure. Independent means it has simpler and lighter eCommerce features. We will not remove WooCommerce integrations. All of our existing features will be maintained for sure.
agbioriname
Please can you add the ability to easily add custom registration form.
kawshar
Extended registration could be done with 3rd party plugins which should not be a part of the core LMS plugin.
Thanks
Katie Cooper
Can you please add the ability to add a logo to courses.
A lot of courses have an awarding body or accreditation an a logo is a must to improve sales and recognition.
Ideallly a logo in the sidebar on the single course page and then when courses are listed a logo added for course in the listing.
I bet there is so many people wanting this feature and it will sky rocket sales!
Please add!!
Ps can’t wait till you launch with 2.0!
Sekander
Thank you for taking the time to explain your idea. If we get more requests similar to this, we are definitely going to work on it 🙂
juncokevin
your idea is amazing, please themeum add this funcion
EddieB
I agree this would be great
Blasyfeel
Hello,
Suggestion for improvement.
1) On the “course enrolled” page you can add the “view course” button which allows students to redirect to the course page and the “start lesson” button which redirect students to the lesson page. It’s better.
2) In the “My courses” page for instructors, add the tab (Online courses, pending courses, draft) or a filter to filter the courses already online, the pending publication and the draft
Thank
Sekander
1. I think we already have that. But we are trying to reduce the page loads and clicks for the students to keep then engaged better. The current system is designed they way you have demonstrated.
2. We only have pending review and published status for now. Having the draft feature is a good idea. I have passed this to the team for consideration 🙂
Morris Silver
I have a question, can we use GoogleMeet? Or does integrating with Google Classroom meant we can also use GoogleMeet?
Sekander
Google Meet is a part of Google Caldendar which we have not integrated yet. We have plans to integrate it within the second quarter of 2022.
Morris Silver
There is something that LearnDash does better which TutorLMS has to look into.
(1) The text editor to input quiz questions in TutorLMS is not HTML and cannot hold images and files. It is also very small and not suitable for an English comprehension long-type questions. Can you look into this and make the editor more user-friendly.
(2) When teachers are setting up quizzes, they should also be able to include feedback for the wrong/right answers. This feature is also available in Moodle and most advanced LMS. Feedback is key!!
Sekander
Hey Morris,
1. We have plans to improve the entire course creating experience. I hope that you will see something cool from 2022. Currently we are occupied with Tutor 2.0 update.
2. We already have a feedback system in the quiz for the instructor. Please open a quiz as an instructor from the frontend dashboard. You will see a field to add feedback at the top of the quiz.
We also have a email notification feature for quiz feedback.
ahmadz
Looks amazing! thank you.
I just have a suggestion to add a comment/feedback after answering a question. The teacher writes this beforehand to give an explanation of why the answer is A, not B, or why it is False, not True. I think this is very useful and would allow us to provide more input to our students.
Many thanks for making the best LMS plugin outthere!
Sekander
Thank you so much for the suggestion. We already have a good amount of requests to add question hints and explanation. I believe that we will be able to work on it soon.
Morris Silver
This is what I was referring to. It is KEY!! Please can the developer team make this feature a priority.
Blasyfeel
Hello,
Have you thought about a private messaging system between instructor and students who have enrolled in the course? In my message, writing a message, the student chooses the course and sends a message to the instructor.
Thank
Sekander
Hi,
Private messaging is in our plan but not in our priority list at this moment. I hope that we will be able to work on this in 2022.
Blasyfeel
Hello, I still have a few little suggestions:
1) Have you thought about creating a zoom meeting page for students? Students will be able to see the entire zoom course meeting to which they are registered in this page with the “join meeting” button. Current or active meeting, Future meeting, (you must add the course title) and past or expired meeting.
2) Separate the zoom meeting creation from the course creation page. It will be easier to put a “create a meeting” button on the zoom page in the dashboard. When the instructor clicks on the “create a meeting” button, he is asked to choose a course before creating the meeting. And this meeting should not be validated by the administrator
Thank
Sekander
Hi,
1. We already have this feature for the instructors. We have introduced the calendar feature, do you think it would be nice to show the upcoming zoom calls there? It can be a one stop place for the student to know about all the tasks.
2. I will share this feedback with the user experience design team 🙂
Blasyfeel
Hello,
The idea of a calendar for students is so cool. Yes that’s exactly it, I think adding the zoom events created by the instructors for the courses in the calendar would be a very good idea. Students may be notified of the creation of a new zoom event created by instructors. The students can view current events for today in the calendar with the join meeting buttons, upcoming events, and expired or past events.
Sekander
Thank you for your kind feedback. I have added them in the feature requests.
blunnyn
It looks incredible, although it would be better if a grade could be obtained for the courses, that is, the student at the end of the course if they have over X grade, they pass the course.
This could be reflected in the final certificate. In addition, it would be ideal if the course start and end date could be added to the same certificate.
Greetings and excellent work.
Sekander
Hi,
Thank you so much for all your good word. We feel really encouraged from such positive appreciation.
We are developing a drag and drop certificate builder at this moment. I hope that we will be able to include the grade and date features in our future updates.
CARLOS MULLER
I really liked everything I saw and I’m looking forward to this new version. The new features will make the tool much better and more complete!
But I was in doubt, I already have an annual subscription to the platform, which I will renew in December. Will this version 2.0 be sold separately or will everyone who use the current version be automatically upgraded?
I also ask you to pay attention to the translation part, I use the platform in Portuguese and I had a lot of problems doing the translation, I had to do a lot on my own, adjusting directly in the HTML, as the .po file was not ready to translate all layout and navigation items.
Sekander
Hello Carlos,
Thank you so much for using Tutor LMS and taking the time to share your concerns.
Tutor 2.0 will be offered to all of our active users. There will be no discrimination and no extra charges. The free version users will get the free version of Tutor 2.0 and the Pro version users will get the pro features aligning with that.
We do not have any plans to sell any new tools or add-on or module this year. Including everything in one single price has been one of our major positioning. We will try our best to maintain that 🙂
I am sorry to know that you had trouble with the translations. We have fixed all of them as we got the reports. If you still find anything that are not translatable, please let us know. We will try our best to fix as soon as possible.
You will be happy to know that we are planning to release all of our pending features and products before the Black Friday. So, it will be helpful for you to decide in December 🙂

What about WooCommerce Memberships integrations?
Sekander
Hi,
I am sorry to inform you that we do not have plans to integrate any other membership or payment processing system at this moment. We have started planning for a built in payment processing system which will facilitate all kinds of eCommerce needs 🙂
teachthought
Thank you. WooCommerce should not be required to sell a course. Can’t wait to see this—hoping it has the ability to upsell, save items for later, and a streamlined cart/checkout experience for improved conversions.
ubheamar
I chose tutor LMS over LearnDash because of seamless WooCommerce Integration. so that I can add features as cart abandoned & make product file downloadable. I think Tutor LMS should provide flexibility to customers to either integrate with WooCommerce or their own payment system.
Sekander
We will not remove anything that already exists. We will just add new things on top of it.
As having membership features as our built in feature and adding compatibility again would be redundant, we decided not to add more integrations.
JUAN LUIS MARTEL REVUELTA
I am very happy using tutor LMS ❤️ .
Tutor LMS is already better than Thinkific.
Tutor LMS allows you to make powerful academies and very easy to use.
I have a lot of changes in my Tutor LMS, whenever there is an update I write my changes and everything works fine again.
Tutor LMS programmers have to know that they are doing a great job. 🙏
kawshar
Thanks for choosing Tutor LMS.
hfngl
Looks very promising! Thank you for all those efforts you take.
I looked through some of the feature requests and they seem pretty cool. But please also consider the page speed when implementing the features. It would be really sad if Tutor LMS gets one of these bloated plugins that scare all the customers away.
Thanks a lot!
Sekander
Thank you so much for your nice words. Positive feedback like this encourages us to do more great things!
I have passed your feedback to our product team. I hope that we will be able to optimize our performance very soon.

Speaking of page speed: It would be great, if using a caching plugin wouldn´t conflict with the login page of tutor lms. I know you have a lot to do, but fixing this would be amazing.
Have a nice day!

Like we have subscription on our website we are using Memberpress…is that possible can we integrate tutor with memberpress…why I am sharing this because if anyone want to access..they need to subscribe and now if we integrate tutor…one login will work…unless students has to do twice login…one is for subscription and other for tutor.
Sekander
Hello Kanav,
We use the user login data from WordPress table. We do not have any special mechanism that would require logging in twice. Can you please use the contact form on our website to share more details?
We would like to take a look in your site and work if there are any bugs 🙂

Is there planned gutenberg block support for building lessons?
Sekander
Hi,
We have planned for Gutenberg blocks for Tutor LMS but they will take a bit more time. So, you can say 2.2 or 2.3 might bring the Gutenberg blocks.
Blasyfeel
Hi, With the tutor lms lecteur, youtube player controls are not hiding we can see the title of the video, the suggestion videos when the video is paused, the youtube logo ….. , do you plan to fix this? Thank you
Sekander
Hi,
Yes, we have plans to improve the overall experience of the entire system. But I am not sure if we will be able to add all the features in the first release of 2.0. I guess we might improve the video player somewhere between 2.2 or 2.3.
Thank you so much for using Tutor LMS.
Blasyfeel
Hello,
I would like to give you a suggestion regarding the live zoom course, you can still improve it.
When creating the course we ask the instructor if he wants to create an online or live course with zoom. If he chooses to create a live course, he is asked to enter the start date of the session, the end date of the session (the instructor can add several start and end dates for the same course), duration (days or time), number of places, price ……
In the course builder, the instructor will create lesson sessions with the date, time, duration, identification and live zoom passwords ( it is this session that will be save on zoom). For example: *Cours of photoshop (in live)
Start date : September 20, 2021
End date : September 25, 2021
*Duration 5 days
*Course schedule
-Session of September 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (duration :2 hours) :
Lessons 1
Lessons 2
Lessons 3
In the course page, you can display “live” in red on the live course and students can also filter the live course and online.
Create a special page only to display the course live.
In the dashboard, add the “live course” tab where the students can see all the live course registered in progress, future and past. In the course on each lesson session there will be a join live button for the progress live course. Regarding the payment, the instructor can request to receive the course money live 5 days after the end of the session date in order to allow the administration to verify that the course session has taken place.
Thanks
Sekander
Hi,
Thank you so much for taking the time to describe the feature. Yes, we do have plans to improve our course landing pages and introduce some variations to display courses. Please allow us some time and subscribe to our mailing list to get notified about the new improvements 🙂
Blasyfeel
Hello, on your WP Crowdfunding plugin there is the stripe connect feature. Why haven’t you implemented it for tutor lms? That’s what’s missing, tutor lms stripe connect. I’m looking forward to it.
Payoneer is also interesting
Thank
Sekander
Hi,
We have plans to make Tutor LMS work alone and remove the dependencies for WooCommerce or any other third party eCommerce solutions. So, it will take us some time 🙂
Please do not worry about removing current integrations. They will run side by side. We just choose to be independent 😉
Blasyfeel
Could I have a little more information please ? In the independence of tutor lms payment systems, will the payout be automatic? Or the system will still be manual as we do now. Are you going to integrate stripe connect express, custom? Or payoneer?
Sekander
We can not add all the features in the first release. We do have plans to add productivity features and save your time. So, Stripe Connect and automated payments are a possibility for the future 🙂
billiesmith289
please make sure to include the following
. add custom event in the 2.0 event module. this will greatly enhance an education site. not just quizes and tests. also paid event option integration with woocommerce payment gateways.
2. buddypress styling templates. few theme developers do a good job of styling buddypress menus if any at all. this is very true on mobile phone buddypress menu styling and design.
the buddypress avatar and cover image takes up a whole screen . WTF.
3. ON DEMAND TUTORIAL BOOKING.
ADD WOOCOMMERCE BOOKING INTEGRATION INTO 2.0.
this will allow students to book lessons with their private online tutors.
3. hope 2.0 separate the student and teacher dashboard.
right now it’s lumped together. no good. confusing.
what is the ETA for 2.0 please?
thanks and regards,
Sekander
Hi,
Thank you so much for your detailed suggestions. We are already looking into opportunities to integrate with WooCommerce Booking.
The options and features on the Dashboard loads based on the user role. So, I personally do not see an issue there. We have received only 3 requests about separating the dashboard for students and instructors. If we receive more requests, we will definitely consider working on it 🙂
The ETA for 2.0 first beta is November 2021

I would also like the ability to add events that aren’t necessarily course-based—like webinars, for example.
Improved quiz functions like hints, the ability to explain why an answer was incorrect, and some kind of hover-based toolkit that can offer a sentence or two of explanation for each possible answer before answering.
(In my dream world, the quiz would be adaptive/conditional based on responses so it would scale to student ability but I know this is not required for most users. We run an education organization, however, and these kinds of technologies are becoming a standard for modern assessments. At the minimum, it would be nice for students to be able to choose a difficulty level for a quiz and the instructor could simply make two or more versions.)
A separate dashboard for students and teachers seems to make sense.
Sekander
Hi,
Thank you so much for taking the time to describe your ideas. I have forwarded them to our user experience design team. We already have some requests to add question hints in the quiz section. I believe that we will be able to work on the explanation feature soon 🙂

Adoro Tutor LMS per la sua semplicità! Bravi!
Purtroppo non lo possiamo usare per il mondo ECM perché il registro attività non è completo, non offre informazioni in profondità come le LOG.
Chissà in un prossimo futuro…

Sekander
Hi,
You can install the plugin on a multi site environment but it is not possible to have multiple sites in one network installation.
growtogive
Will there ever be a time I can have more than one tutor lms running within a multisite network? In other words, if I want to promote a teacher to a school director in another location in the world – I would like to be able to allow that new school director to not only have their own tutor lms within our network, but to allow their current students to enroll in their site as well as stay enrolled with mine. It allows great expansion and opportunity for promoting a network of our schools.
Thank you.

Looks stunning!
We hope we will get the following features as well:
– Easy translations for all of the content (Certificates included).
– Be able to add a custom player, for example with shortcode (Presto Player for WordPress), for the main video or any of the lessons.
Sekander
Hi,
Thank you so much for your appreciation.
1. The entire platform can be translated in any language you want. We have 27 translations available already. You can also use the WPML integration to use multiple language in the same website.
2. Presto player is already integrated. You can embed videos from any source you want.
John Ofori-Anum
HI,
I cannot express this strongly enough…
I have other video players I wish to embed, some only work by inserting a Shortcode. So, especially with LESSONS, we need another option to add video Shortcodes (as well as Embeds) and another to add into a WYSIWIG area so we can control our own custom video players being displayed in our Lessons. Adding my own cloud videos within different types of video-players, to lessons has been a real pain for me, so pretty please fix this for 2.0.
Sekander
Did you try using Shortcodes in the embedded video field? If yes and that is not working for you, please use the contact form on our website. We will try our best to assist you 🙂

Very nice job!
And what about like your theme forest competitor, let we share questions from course instead of create all questions inside the course? Example: a bank of 1000 questions that each new course that we create we can just link those question and setup the points! Same for lessons, some course we need show lessons from another course! Can we do this easily?
And about SSO?
Thanks

Hi,
Each of the LMS in the market has a different position and serves to the different category of LMS portals. For our case, reusing the content is not that popular. So, we do not have plans for that yet. If we get more requests about this, we will definitely consider working on it 🙂
Single Sign On feature can be used with any WordPress compatible plugin as we store all the user information on the default user tables.
growtogive
Sharing lessons and questions is a very valuable tool for allowing influencers who are great at building a following, but are not detailed enough or weaker in the area of building courses, to use elements from great course builders. In a dream world – course builders could allow their elements to be used by other users to build a custom course. Sort of like referring to Youtube videos in slides when making presentations (This is in essense using someone else’s post ).
Then a great dream – allow monetization of those sections of courses being shared or duplicated. It allows users to focus on their strengths of delivering an ideal teaching environment. The course builders needs the following from the influencers. The influencers need content for their followers. Rarely will you find an individual who is very strong in both of these areas. I realize it is not core needs but a huge tool for exponential growth. Imagine a poor mom who wants to teach, lead, manage and oversee 5 kids at her home or office. She could create courses from other parts of courses to fit the needs of the 5 kids. She may not be good with graphics, writing, animation, video, etc. but she is great at teaching and leading. She could build her own custom course and the original course builder could offer it free or for a fee for every course sold.
Thanks,
James
Thank you

Great LMS!
Please improve payment plans. The membership plug-ins are too clunky. We need a ‘Pay Full’ and ‘Pay Monthly’ feature with a set number of monthly payments not just subscribe. I know there is plugins but there are too many workarounds.

This is breathtaking!!! Keep going!!!
Some feature requests for consideration:
I wish we have conditional questions added to the question options. For instance, show or skip a question depending on the answer of the previous question. This would be greatly appreciated.
Secondly, in the currently version (there maybe a setting for this but …), I would like to prevent a quize submission until all the questions have been answered. Currently, once you on the last question in a quize, and hit “submit”, it shows up in red the questions for which answers have not been provided, but nevertheless, the submission goes through.
Zareen Tasnim
Thank you so much for the feedback and appreciation. We’ll keep this in mind.
Andreas Ntritsos
Very excited for the 2.0 version and happy that we are going to have all these new improvments so soon! What I would like to see with this version is the ebility to easily transfer listed courses from a website to another with back up or any other workable way. Not the entire website, just the courses.
