Skillate 1.2.3: Fixes to Design, Function, and Demo Content

Hello Skillate users! You’ll be happy to know that today we are greeting you with a new Skillate update! This new version i.e. Skillate 1.2.3, brings you several Functional and Design Bug fixes as well as improvements to the Demo Content.

If you didn’t know, Skillate is a powerful WordPress LMS theme designed to keep students in mind. It is Multi-Instructor ready, has Mobile View support, boasts a modern Navigation Menu, and more. 

This new update is mainly dedicated to bug-squashing fixes, with a few improvements to demo content thrown in. Take a look at the changelog below for a detailed overview.

Skillate v1.2.3 Changelog:

  • Update: Many design responsiveness issues are improved
  • Update: RTL design issues are improved
  • Update: Many design broken issues on different Tutor pages are improved
  • Fix: “Enroll Now” button was appearing if even a student was enrolled in a Course
  • Fix: HTML5 Video player’s duration wouldn’t appear on the Course Details page
  • Fix: “Add to Cart” button appeared twice in Mobile View
  • Fix: YouTube Player was unable to show Videos
  • Fix: “Q&A” Tab appeared on the Single Course page even though it is disabled from the Settings
  • Fix: “Bio” section was not appearing on the student’s Public Profile page
  • Fix: “Mark as Complete” button was not appearing in the Mobile View
  • Fix: “Submit” button was not working for the “Write a Review” section on the Single Course page
  • Fix: “Bio” section was not appearing on the instructor’s Public Profile page
  • Fix: Link to Instructor Profile was redirecting visitors to the Student Profile page
  • Fix: Announcement was appearing on the Single Course page, though it is disabled from the Admin panel
  • Fix: Course Attachments were not appearing on the Single Course page
  • Fix: “Add to Cart” button was appearing if even a student is enrolled in a Course
  • Fix: “Course Content Access” option was not working for Instructors and Admins
  • Fix: On “Course Content Access” mode, the “Q&A” and “Resources” tabs were not appearing for Instructors and Admins
  • Fix: “View Certificate” button was appearing if even the course is not started yet
  • Fix: If even “Course Visibility” is set to “Logged in Only,” still the Course Details page was accessible by visitors 
  • Fix: “Complete Course” button was not appearing even after completing all Course Lessons
  • Fix: “Strict Mode” was not functioning properly
  • Fix: “Course Retake” button was not appearing even though the “Retake Course” option is enabled
  • Fix: In the “Student Registration” page, the Full Name was not being saved 
  • Fix: After adding to the cart, still, the “Add to Cart” button appeared beside the “View Cart” button
  • Fix: “Login with Google” was not working
  • Fix: Category Filter was not working for the Subcategories on the Course List page

Notable Changes

The new update brings massive improvements in design responsiveness. Users can now experience a more seamless transition when accessing the site on their smartphones or other portable devices. 

Several design issues are also addressed with patch v1.2.3. Many users have reported experiencing broken design elements in different Tutor pages. With this update, we have solved any such issues previously encountered.
