Today, we are updating your favorite Edumax with multiple new customization features in the theme appearance settings, along with several fixes to the internal code.
Let’s take a look at what you will get with the latest release:
- New: 5 Customizer options for the course settings section to enable/disable level, category, topic, course count, and filter.
- New: 6 color customization options for the login page to tweak background, text, button background, button hover background, and hover text colors.
- New: Compatibility for “Easy Digital Downloads”.
- New: Reverse option to set the content of the single course page to either the left or right side.
- Fix: Header title font size was not working for subheader banner customizer setting.
- Fix: Header transparent option was not working from header customizer setting.
- Fix: Sticky Header option was not working properly from the customizer setting.
- Fix: Disable button for Social Login was not working.
5 New Customization Options in Course Settings
With Edumax v2.0.5 we are introducing the enable/disable option for the level filter, category filter, topic filter, course sorting option, and course count. Now you can either allow them or disable them depending on your needs in your LMS site.
Let’s take a look at what each of them does.
- Level Filter: This option lets you filter the courses based on the level.
- Category: This will let your users filter the courses by their categories.
- Topic: Each course consists of different topics. You can filter them using this option.
- Course Sorting: It allows you to sort courses by the release date (oldest first, newest first) or by course title (A-Z/Z-A).
- Course Count: This shows the total number of courses in your LMS site on the course listing page.
We have added an enable/disable option for all of them so you can have customization freedom for the course listing page. There is also a new “Course Content Reverse” option to align the single page course content to either left or right side depending on your preference. 6 New Color Customization Options for the Login Page
With today’s update, we are also bringing new customization settings for the social login page. Especially for all the color lovers out there.
From now on, you will be able to set a specific color to many sections of the login page. Such as
- Login reg screen bg color: Set the color of the registration/login screen background.
- Login reg screen text color: Choose a color for the registration/login screen texts.
- Login reg btn bg color: This lets you set a color for the registration/login button background.
- Login reg btn bg hover: Set a specific color for the button background when the user hovers over the button.
- Login reg btn text color: Choose a color from the color palette for the text inside the registration/login button.
- Login reg btn text hover: Set a color for the button text when a user hovers over the registration/login button.
All of the options above support a wide range of colors so you are sure to find the right match for what you would want. You can take a look at the documentation to know about all available customization options for Social Login.

Apart from the above mentions, we have also fixed some issues based on your feedback on the previous update. You will experience a smoother and stable “Edumax” in your LMS site.
