WordPress 5.6 was released back on December 8, 2020, and there’s a lot in it for all WordPress enthusiasts. The last major WordPress release of the year 2020 added many new features along with fixes for the users. And, we don’t want you to fall behind.
You will be glad to know that we’ve introduced WordPress 5.6 compatibility for our products along with some fixes and improvements. We are extremely proud of the fact that our users are getting the latest available features of WordPress 5.6 with our existing products.
WordPress 5.6 Compatible Themeum Plugins
All the following Themeum plugins are compatible with the latest WordPress 5.6 release. You will find the name of the plugins along with their latest changelog below.
Tutor LMS (Free v1.7.6 and Pro v1.7.6)
- New: Translation support for email notification templates.
- Update: The instructor profile has been made responsive to all devices.
- Fix: Backslashes issue for the answers of the quiz module.
- Fix: Q&A timestamp is now aligned with WordPress timezone settings.
- Fix: BCC field added for the student notification emails (Pro).
Qubely (Free v1.6.3 and Pro v1.2.7)
- Fix: Form fields not showing in WordPress 5.6 for the Form Builder block.
- Fix: The import layout button missing issue in WordPress 5.6 (Pro).
- Update: API changes from layout/sections in the backend.
WP Crowdfunding (Free v2.0.8 and Pro v11.1.8)
- New: Latest widgets added for the Backer theme.
- New: Now you can export campaign user’s data.
- New: Overwrite form system via a filter.
- Update: Introducing compatibility with the upcoming WordPress 5.6
- Fix: WP Mega Menu Compatibility logical issue.
- Fix: Reset Password option not working issue in the Crowdfunding Form.
- Fix: Document not printing properly for the reward item detail’s print option.
- Fix: Warning notice issue when feature image for a campaign was empty.
- Fix: Payments not depositing in Wallet issue.
- Fix: Stripe Connect payment issue.
- Fix: Text multiline issue for the reward section on the frontend.
- Fix: Text contraction (ex: isn’t, hasn’t, etc) not showing correctly on the frontend.
- Fix: The recommended amount for backing not showing properly on the frontend.
- Fix: “Send 100% payment to campaign owner” option for the Pro version not working properly (Pro).
- Fix: None field error for the email encryption type (Pro).

- Fix: Header background not changing issue.
- Fix: Header search bar not showing issue.
- Fix: The wrong course adding issue to the cart.
- Fix: Public profile layout for instructors not updating issue.
- Fix: jQuery issue for the top slider in courses page in WordPress 5.6.
- Fix: Course prerequisite warning message not showing in single course page issue.
- Fix: Text string missing from skillate-core plugin pot file issue.
- Update: Search text UI has been improved.
- Update: Add to cart button UI has been improved.
- Update: Changed ‘Enroll Now’ button with ‘Add to cart’ when Woocommerce monetization is active for paid courses.
Docent (v2.0.6)
- Fix: Logo not showing issue on the License page.
- Fix: Some settings of the theme not showing the correct documentation link issue.
- Fix: Appearance not showing properly for the course rating.
- Fix: Appearance issue regarding the Course Enrolled Students.
- Fix: Course Progress Bar showing after being disabled from the backend issue.
Edumax (v1.0.9)
- Fix: Missing doc links for some Edumax theme settings added.
- Fix: License page logo appearance issue.
- Fix: Conflict with WP Mega Menu while logging in.
- Fix: Spelling correction for Google+ in Customizer.
- Fix: Cluttered overlay element issue on the single course page.
- Fix: Enrollment issue in the courses archive page.
- Fix: The wrong percentage showing issue for the completed course.
- Fix: Purchase history not updating properly issue after purchasing a course.
Backer (v1.1.4)
- Fix: Text multiline issue for the reward section on the frontend.
- Fix: Text contraction (ex: isn’t, hasn’t, etc) not showing correctly on the frontend.
- Fix: Warning notice issue when feature image for a campaign was empty.
- Update: All WP Crowdfunding templates have been updated.
Patrios (v1.1.8)
- Fix: Text multiline issue for the reward section on the frontend.
- Fix: Text contraction (ex: isn’t, hasn’t, etc) not showing correctly issue on the frontend.
- Fix: Warning notice issue when feature image for a campaign was empty.
- Fix: UI broken issue in the Campaign Detail page.
- Fix: Showing play button on empty featured image.
- Update: All WP Crowdfunding templates updated.
As you can see we were eager to provide our users with the latest WordPress 5.6 compatibility and also didn’t want to compromise with the quality. That’s why we tested all the compatibility issues thoroughly.
