Custom Time Setting for Showing Answer in the Quiz Reveal Mode Is Now Here
In the quiz reveal mode previously, revealed answers would only show up for a short time before moving on to the next question. A new setting is now introduced so you can manually set the time you want an answer to be shown in the quiz Reveal mode.
Find this setting in Tutor LMS > Settings > Course.

Admin/Instructor Can Now Add Code Blocks Inside a Lesson/Assignment/Quiz
With this update, you can add code blocks to your Lessons, Assignments, and Quizzes. This is a big help if you are taking any course related to Coding or Development. You can include code snippets in your Lessons to give examples to students and then use code snippets to quiz them too!
You can find the option while creating or editing lesson content.

“Enrollment Box” Widget Can Be Placed at the Top of the Course Details Page in Mobile View
Admins can now manage the position of the Enrollment Box widget and place it on top for the course detail page in mobile view. This option gives you more customization power in creating your dream site the way you want it.
The dropdown can be found in Tutor LMS > Settings > Design.

Introduced Significant Security Improvements
We are providing the current users with significant security enhancements in this version. Better HTML sanitization and a more effective SQL injection protection technique are being introduced.
Your LMS site should be better protected against unscrupulous actors than ever thanks to these security upgrades. As a result, you can focus on creating your eLearning site rather than worrying about security.
Searching on Timezone Names Now Introduced in the Zoom Meeting Add/Edit Modal
In the Zoom Metting Add or Edit modal, you can now search on the timezone name list. This is a quality of life improvement saving users from a lot of scrolling and making the process much more simple.

The Course Details Page Will Now Show WooCommerce Subscription Details Information
Previously users of the WooCommerce Subscription plugin had not so pleasant journey to find out the details of the subscriptions. We have now linked the details with tutor lms and you can they will show up on the Course Details page directly. We hope that this will make life more comfortable for a lot of our users.

Aside from these highlighted features and updates, there are a few fixes that need an honorable mention.

Hi,
1. After candidates complete the quiz, we need a detailed solution explanations field to help them review and understand their mistakes. We instructors should be able to add detailed solution explanations to each question and candidates will check them to make concepts more clear. We need basic text formatting like bold, italics, add links, and code samples.
2. Currently, the ‘questions’ and ‘answer options’ are single-line fields. These fields too should be paragraph fields with basic text formatting capabilities.
3. Need ‘questions’, ‘answer options’, and ‘detailed solution explanations’ fields in paragraph format with basic text formatting capabilities similar to: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wn3TsroMLkZYdKcRNQEUH1VuAmT1clSD/view?usp=sharing
Kindly add these features as soon as possible. My team is eagerly waiting.
Regards!

If possible please share a timeline for this feature to integrate on the platform. Our team is eager to start building courses on tutorlms. I understand there are set of procedures you need to follow before feature development but an approx timeline would be beneficial for us.

I requested something like this back in April and again this week 🙁

I have a suggestion that helps a lot: the possibility of ending registration for a course on a specific date and not a specific period.
For example, the course subscription expires on 10/15/2022

Thank you so much for the comment and suggestion. I will surely pass it on to our dev team!

Goodnight,
I performed a few days of testing on my domain between August 20th and August 23rd and noticed some abnormal occurrences of a plugin feature working.
The screenshot (https://prnt.sc/S6xiAlUlENQr) refers to a real test made by a user logged into the site where there was an “attempt” to answer one of the questionnaires on the site that is using the Tutor LMS plugin in version 2.0.9.
The error in question is related to the questions that are “repeating” and also the wrong count calculated in the final score of the questionnaire answered by the user, thus making it impossible to know the real final grade of the user of that course.
In contact with the team responsible for the server on which the site is running, they told me that there may be some “conflict” with JS files when leaving the GoCache plugins (https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/gocache -cdn) and LiteSpeed Cache (https://br.wordpress.org/plugins/litespeed-cache) active here in the panel as they were during the period mentioned above.
As shown in the print, on the same day (23), we deactivated the plugins and thus the situation of the questionnaire that had an “error” was normalized.
I can’t wait and thanks in advance.

Hi! No, I’m reporting the problem.

Hello, Certificates are no longer being issued.
Those issued months ago will show up, but when a new student completes a course and learns that they want to view their certificate, it shows “Invalid Course ID” and cannot be issued.

Hi Yosh,
I have the same error with the new version, did you resolve the issue? please share thank you
Sami Muhammad Gazi
Thank you so much for the feedback. We are promptly looking into the issue.

We would like to report our investigation into the issue of certificates not being issued when using the tutor-lms-certificate-builder plugin.
The following URL is called in the init_render_certificate function in /plugins/tutor-pro/addons/tutor-certificate/assets/js/html-to-image.js.
/wp-content/plugins/tutor-pro/addons/tutor-certificate/assets/js/html-to-image.js?ver=2.0.9&fver=20220821122434
However, when I access this, certificate-builder is invoked and no certificate is issued.
By the way, when I stop the tutor-lms-certificate-builder plugin, the certificate is issued with the default template.
This seems to be due to the filter on the certificate_builder_url function.
Please take action so that customized certificates can be issued.
Sami Muhammad Gazi
Thank you very much. I have forwarded the issue to the dev team.

Hello, it would be great if you could include in the plugin roadmap the possibility of more push notifications for instructors. Currently the students have many and the instructors very few.
For example
– When a student enrolls in a course
– When a student asks a question
– When a student answers a question
– When a student submits an assignment
– When a student answers a quiz
– When a student completes a course
– When a student completes a lesson
Thank you very much
We are very happy with the progress

Las preguntas y respuestas deberían volver al aula virtual y no debería estar en landig page.
Ejemplo.
Si alguien ve se clase podría hacer su pregunta a la izquierda, ahora tiene que salir del aula virtual para hacer la consulta.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I will surely pass it on to our dev team!
