And, the list goes on. So let’s get started.

Required Plugins

To ensure everything is working properly, make sure that you are using the latest version of Tutor LMS both free & pro versions as well as the latest iteration of BuddyPress from the WordPress plugin directory.

How to Use BuddyPress with Tutor LMS

To enjoy BuddyPress integration benefits, you must have the free and pro versions of Tutor LMS installed & activated along with the BuddyPress plugin.

Then navigate to your WordPress dashboard, Tutor LMS > Add-ons > BuddyPress and click enable.

And now comes an important part of creating a community-based eLearning platform – activity! Exactly like Facebook’s news feed where users experience content posted on the network.

In order to show a course activity, it is required that you enable BuddyPress for each course.

To do that, open a Tutor LMS course in the edit mode, scroll down to see the “BuddyPress Groups” section. Click on it to enable the group’s feature(s). Now you can assign your desired group.
